Welcome to Blackshear Elementary School's (click HERE) Little EAST Silent Auction website!  Over 100 businesses have donated to our Auction this year!!  Thank you for visiting and happy bidding!  Our goal is to raise $7,000!  Let's do it!

On November 12th our school will be hosting its 9th Annual Little EAST Show in conjunction with Big Medium's Annual (East) Austin Studio Tour (AST, click HERE).  The Show will take place from 11am to 3pm - there will be student performances, crafts, student artwork and our Silent Auction.  This year's auction is gearing up to be our biggest to date - thanks to our amazing and generous donors (click HERE).

We are very proud to be one of two AISD elementary schools to be designated as a Fine Arts Academy!  This means that our students have 2 extra classes each week in the fine arts: ballet, dance, music, theater and more!  Blackshear is also a Title 1 school (more than half of our families are economically disadvantaged) - we're bringing the fine arts to kids that otherwise might not have some of these opportunities.  We are so excited about what we're doing!

All funds raised during this auction go to further develop and support the fine arts programming that we have in place, as well as new initiatives that we'll pursue in the future.  This year we're taking every student to the historical Paramount Theatre for a live performance!  If you would like to make a monetary donation - we would greatly appreciate that!  Click on the DONATE button below.

We received over 100 items this year including photo sessions, original artwork, locally made jewelry, lots of restaurant gift cards, theater tickets and more!  Plus, we have over 35 carefully curated packages.  There is sure to be something for you, your family, friends, and co-workers to bid on.

Our ONLINE Silent Auction begins on Friday, November 4th at 8:00pm and ends on Saturday, November 12th at 2:30pm (CT). 

**Make sure to stop by Ms. Raina's classroom (our Art teacher) on Saturday, November 12th between 11am and 2:30pm to see a selection of the auction items on display.  We'll be there to answer any questions, as well.
