You will help provide 19% of our population, who are the most disadvantaged in our community, a Scholarship which will empower them to become upwardly mobile and break the poverty cycle. These scholarships will be presented to individuals who are struggling to sustain their families with salaries below a living wage. They will have access to the education, mentoring, and resources they need to change their circumstances and their lives.  Begin Anew served more than 400 of these individuals within our community in 2016, many of which achieved their high school equivalency or computer/job skills, equipping them to excel in the Greater Nashville area workplace.

Through your kindness today, we can achieve our goal to raise funds for 15 scholarships. Approximately $3,000 will provide one adult (aged 18 to 58) and their children a scholarship to gain access to education, mentoring, resources, free child care and one-on-one tutoring.

Items requiring pick-up will be available for pick-up: Monday November 27th 7AM to 6PM in Nashville at Nashville Baptist Association (420 Main St), Tuesday November 28th 11AM to 6PM in Madison at Madison Church of Christ Door #24 (106 Gallatin Pk N), and Wednesday November 29th 8AM to 6PM in Franklin at Franklin First United Methodist Church (120 Aldersgate Way).
