The proceeds will provide scholarships for participants and fund equipment for new activities, games, and art supplies to keep Tim's Place thriving.

Tim's is a 501(c) 3 not for profit organization & all profits will go to Tim’s Place.

Tim’s Place provides respite for caregivers of people experiencing dementia and was created by Carolee Dunn to honor her husband Tim.  At the same time, “Tim’s" provides a social club for those experiencing memory loss.

Currently held twice a week, trained volunteers at Tim’s engage with participants while caregivers are able to enjoy a three-hour respite.  Knowing their loved one is socializing, building friendships, and participating in programs proven to encourage community and support cognitive skills, caregivers return to find their participant is more engaged, sharper, and valued — at Tim’s, everyone has a task and helps out.  Activities change frequently and include crafts, music, gentle exercise, and memory games.  Beyond providing respite care, Tim’s has created a community of strong, beneficial relationships for those experiencing memory loss.
